Access Sweep Report

You can access the Sweep Report from the Schedule Sweep screen of the Payments module. The Sweep Report can contain information about all sweep payments made within a designated date range by agents or agencies associated with the insurance carrier. The Sweep Report can also be configured to provide more limited information by allowing the agent or agency running the sweep report to view only the sweep payments made by that agent or agency.

To access the Sweep Report:

  1. Access the Schedule Sweep screen of the Payments module.
  2. Navigate to the Retrieve a Sweep Report for Date Range section under the Sweep Queue section.
  3. In the From and To boxes type the date range you want the Sweep Report to reflect.
  4. Select Go. The report will generate and appear as a download.
  5. Access the download to view the report.

Sweep Report

The Sweep Report will download in a tabbed view that includes the following tabs: Agency Payments Received and Sweep Payments.

The Agency Payments Received tab will provide the following information:

  • Company: The insurance carrier.
  • Run User: The agent or agency who ran the report.
  • Run Date: The date the report was generated.
  • Target Date Range Beginning: The date indicated in the From boxes under Retrieve a Sweep Report for Date Range.
  • Target Date Range Ending: The date indicated in the To boxes under Retrieve a Sweep Report for Date Range.

The Sweep Payments tab will provide the following information:

  • Agency Code: The code assigned to an agency by the insurance carrier.
  • Sweep Date: The date the sweep payment processed.
  • Input Date: The date the sweep payment was entered.
  • Policy Number: The policy number associated with the sweep payment.
  • Named Insured: The named insured on the policy associated with the sweep payment.
  • Agent Sweep: The total amount of the sweep payment.
  • Paid Premium: The amount of sweep payment distributed to the premium.
  • Paid System Fees: The amount of the sweep payment distributed to system fees.
  • Paid Custom Fees: The amount of the sweep payment distributed to custom fees.

Usage considerations

The ability to access the sweep report is determined by the advanced setting show-transaction-report. When the show-transaction-report is set to False, the Retrieve a Sweep Report for Date Range section will appear on the Schedule Sweep screen of the Payments module. When show-transaction-report is set to True, the Retrieve a Sweep Report for Date Range section is replaced by the Detailed Transaction Report section.

The view of the sweep report is determined by the advanced setting, sweep-report-show-all. When sweep-report-show-all is set to False, the agent accessing and viewing the sweep report will see only the sweep payments that they made during the specified date range. When sweep-report-show-all is set to True, the agent accessing and viewing the sweep report will see all sweep payments made during the specified date range.
