BriteCore’s updated Accounts Receivable user interface provides additional features, enhanced usability, and a modern look, while still offering the same great functionality.
New Features
The updated look comes with some new features:
- Insured Mailing Address included in the Policy header.
- Make a Payment button allows insureds to make a payment in the Balance section and choose between two payment options:
- Currently Due: Allows insureds to choose to pay the current amount due.
- Other Amount: Allows insureds to type any amount they wish to pay.
- Show future invoices checkbox allows insureds to view future invoices in the Account History table.
- Account History table
- Invoice icon allows insureds to view an invoice as a PDF.
- NSF flag indicates there were non-sufficient funds for a payment.
Policy Header
The updated Policy header looks nicer and offers more options than ever before.
- The policy number is still located in the top-left of the screen.
- The Named Insured is more pronounced.
- The Insured Mailing Address is listed.
- Other included information:
- Policy status
- Linked policies
- Policy type
- The header provides options previously located in the Overview section:
- Make a Payment
- View Premium Records
- Write-off Premium
- Write-off Custom Fee


Overview
The Overview section has a streamlined look.


Balance
The Balance section replaces the Currently Due section and provides insureds options for making payments.
- The Balance section provides Make a Payment and Issue Credit options and allows insureds to choose between two payment options:
- Currently Due: Allows insureds to choose to pay the current amount due.
- Other Amount: Allows insureds to type any amount to pay.
- The As of date replaces the Overview as of and is only tied to the balance amount as of the chosen date.
- The Due Date is read-only and no longer an editable field. The Due Date is editable within individual invoices.
- The Cancel Date is read-only and no longer an editable field. The Cancel Date is editable within individual invoices.


Billing Setup
The Billing Setup section has an updated, modern look.


Account History
Along with its updated look, the Account History section offers some enhancements:
- Show future invoices
- By default, this feature hides future invoices.
- By selecting the Show future invoices checkbox, insureds can view future invoices for the term in the account history table.
- Account History table
- In the Type column, insureds can simply select the Invoice icon to view an invoice as a PDF.
- In the Type column, non-sufficient funds payments are labeled NSF.
