Add a new peril

Within the Perils screen, you can add a new peril. The perils you add will populate the Loss Cause dialog box or Loss Cause dropdown list when you add the Loss Cause to a claim. To add a new peril:

  1. Select Components from the Claims menu.
  2. Select Perils from the Components dropdown list.
  3. Select Add a New Peril +. The Peril dialog box will open.

  4. In the New Peril box, type the name of the new peril.
  5. In the Code box, type the code of the new peril.
  6. When you’re finished, select Done.
