Add and manage manual coverages

From the Manual Coverages screen, you can add, view, edit, and delete manual coverages.

To add a manual coverage:

  1. Select + Add Manual Coverage. The Add Manual Coverage dialog box will open.
  2. In the Name box, type the name of the manual coverage. This is a required field.
  3. From the Coverage Group dropdown list, select the group the coverage applies to. This is a required field.
  4. From the Coverage Type dropdown list, select the type of coverage that applies to the new manual coverage. This is a required field.
  5. If limits exist for the manual coverage, select + Add Limit. If limits don’t exist, continue to step 9.
  6. In the Value box, type the value amount of the limit. This field is required.
  7. From the Limit Type dropdown, select the type of limit the limit value applies to. This field is required.
  8. To add additional limits, select + Add Limit and repeat steps 6 and 7.
  9. In the Value box of the Deductible section, type the deductible amount that applies to this manual coverage.
  10. When you’re finished entering information, select Save. If you select Cancel, you’ll return to the Manual Coverages screen without adding the manual coverage.

To view a manual coverage:

  1. In the list of added manual coverages on the Manual Coverages screen, navigate to the row of the manual coverage you want to view and select the row or the checkbox. Actions you can complete will appear across the top of the manual coverages list.
  2. Select Show Details. The Manual Coverage Details dialog box will open. This dialog box is read-only.
  3. Select Cancel or the X to return to the Manual Coverages screen.

To edit a manual coverage:

  1. In the list of added manual coverages on the Manual Coverages screen, navigate to the row of the manual coverage you want to edit and select the row or the checkbox. The actions you can complete will appear across the top of the manual coverages list.
  2. Select Edit Manual Coverage. The Edit Manual Coverage dialog box will open.
  3. Complete the edits you want to make.
  4. Select Save.

To delete a manual coverage:

  1. In the list of added manual coverages on the Manual Coverages screen, navigate to the row of the manual coverage you want to delete and select the row or the checkbox.
  2. Select … More. A menu with the option Delete Manual Coverage will appear.
  3. Select Delete Manual Coverage. The Delete Manual Coverage dialog box will open with the following message:

    Are you sure you want to delete <Manual Coverage>?

  4. Select Yes to delete the coverage. Select Cancel to return to the Manual Coverages screen without deleting the manual coverage.
