Add a premium finance company

The organization that finances the cost of an insurance premium for an insured is a premium finance company. The insured that uses financing for a premium agrees to repay the premium finance company. You can add a premium finance company in both the Contacts and the Policies modules. To add a premium finance company in the Policies module, see Adding or updating contacts on a policy.

To add a premium finance company, open the desired contact and:

  1. In the Role section, select Add a Role to open the Role dialog box.
  2. In the Role dropdown list, select Premium Finance Company.
  3. Select Done to close the dialog box and return to the Role section.
  4. Select Save beneath the Role dropdown list. A Save Completed pop-up window will open. No further information is needed.
