Add an ACH payment method

In the Payments tab, you can add and manage ACH accounts for a contact under the Financial Accounts section.

To add an ACH payment method to a contact, open the Payments tab of the desired contact and:

  1. Select the + Add a Payment Method.
  2. In the Payment Method dialog box, select the ACH radio button.
  3. In the Account Description box, type a description of the payment method you are adding.
  4. In the Account Type dropdown list, select the type of account from the list. This is a required field.
  5. In the Name on Account box, type the name of the account-holder. This is a required field.
  6. In the Bank Name box, type the financial institution name where the ACH account is held. This is a required field.
  7. In the Account Number box, type the ACH account number. This is a required field.
  8. In the Routing Number box, type the financial institution’s routing number. This is a required field.
  9. Select the Billing address for account is the same as contact’s primary address. checkbox if the primary address is the same as the billing address. If you select the checkbox, BriteCore will automatically populate the remaining billing address boxes. Move to step 16 if the checkbox is selected. If you don’t select the checkbox, continue to step 10.
  10. In the Address Line 1 box, type the billing address associated with the ACH account. This is a required field.
  11. If applicable, in the Address Line 2 box, type the remaining portion of the address associated with the ACH account.
  12. From the Country dropdown list, select the country associated with the billing address. This is a required field.
  13. In the City dropdown list, type the city associated with the billing address. This is a required field.
  14. From the State / Province dropdown list, select the state or province of the billing address associated with the ACH account. This is a required field.
  15. In the Zip box, type the ZIP code of the billing address associated with the credit card. This is a required field.
  16. When you finish entering ACH information, select OK. The new ACH account information will appear under Financial Accounts. If you select Cancel or X, BriteCore will return you to the Payments tab without saving the information you entered.
