Agent submission email body

Admin alerts

Purpose

With the agentSubmissionEMailBody advanced setting in the admin-alerts section, administrators can create a custom email notification when an agent submits an unbound application.

Requirements

This setting requires a string of text.

Setting default

This setting’s default value is blank, so BriteCore sends the default application submitted email notification and creates a note (below).

Submitted Application – [Policy Number] – [Primary Named Insured] Email

This application has just been submitted [bound/unbound].

Submitted by [Agent Name] - [Agent Email]

To verify BriteCore created a note with the default message, complete the following steps:

  1. Open the submitted application, and then navigate to the Notes tab.
  2. In the All Notes section, view the Email Sent: Submitted Application – [Policy Number] – [Primary Named Insured] note.
  3. Verify the default message (above) appears in the email body.

Change the default

Adding a custom message to agentSubmissionEMailBody triggers BriteCore to send the application submitted email notification with a custom message (below) and create a note in the submitted application.

Note: The custom email notification won’t display whether the application was submitted bound or unbound.

If you’re not an email notification recipient, complete the following steps to verify BriteCore sent an email notification with a custom message:

  1. Open the submitted application, navigate to the Notes tab.
  2. In the All Notes section, view the Email Sent: Submitted Application – [Policy Number] – [Primary Named Insured] note.
  3. Verify the custom message (above) appears in the email body.

Adoption considerations

The applicationsubmitted advanced setting and the Application submitted from BriteQuote administrative alert determine who receives an email notification when an agent submits an application. The agent can also update the email address on the last screen of the quoting wizard.
