Automatically assign a client’s Zendesk tickets to a group

BriteCore staff can create a trigger to automatically assign a client’s Zendesk tickets to a group.

To create a trigger to automatically assign a client’s tickets to a group:

  1. On the Zendesk dashboard, select the administrator settings icon .
  2. On the Settings screen, under Business Rules, select Triggers, and then select Add Trigger.
  3. For Name, type Send New [Client Name] Tickets To [Client Name] Group.
  4. Under Meet all of the following conditions, add the following conditions:
    • Ticket Is Created
    • Organization Is [Client Name]
  5. Select Add Action, and then create an action named Group [Client Name].
  6. Select Create.
