BriteQuote – Setting time zones for quoting release notes

Release Date: July 2021

In BriteCore, you can now set the time zones for an individual product. The time zones set will be used to determine the quoting restrictions allowed for effective date tolerances.

Example: If an agent in Virginia should have the ability to quote a product in California based on the time zone California is in, not the time zone the agent is in (Virginia).

Note: You can add additional time zones for states or territories crossing multiple time zones.

Changes

Previously, quoting restrictions were determined by the server’s time zone. Now, the Configuration team can set time zones.

Note: New customers and new products will need to be configured to include the correct time zones for that product.
