Configure E-Delivery settings in the Provider Administrator portal

With E-Delivery, you can save on printing and mailing costs by offering your insured the option to go paperless.

Setting up E-Delivery includes three broad steps:

  1. Set up E-Delivery in BriteCore
  2. Configure E-Delivery settings in the Provider Administrator portal
  3. Process E-Delivery documents

The Provider Administrator portal has several dashboards to help you monitor E-Delivery events:

  • Enrolled Users dashboard: Displays users that have enrolled in E-Delivery.
  • E-Delivery Dashboard: Displays documents processed via the E-Delivery process and gives you the option to manually process deliverables.
  • Email Dashboard: Displays all emails that have been sent out, including E-Delivery notifications.
  • User Messages Dashboard: Displays all messages that have been sent as an in-app message to Notifications in the Policyholder portal.

You can configure E-Delivery settings under the Settings dashboard in:

  • E-Delivery: Settings to configure how you want E-Delivery to work.
  • Notifications: A setting that allows you to add an automated note in BriteCore each time an E-Delivery document has been sent. This is where you can enter an email address(es) to receive E-Deliverables reports.

Note: Contact the BriteApps team before configuring the E-Delivery Settings.

To configure E-Delivery settings in the Provider Administrator portal:

  1. Log in to your Provider Administrator portal
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select E-Delivery under the Settings sidebar.

Refer to the description page of E-Delivery settings for a detailed description of each setting.

In the Notifications settings, you can add an automated note in BriteCore each time an E-Delivery document has been sent for confirmation and tracking.

To add a note confirming a document has been e-delivered in BriteCore:

  1. Select Notifications under Settings in the sidebar.
  2. Select the slider to enable the Create BC Note on E-Delivery setting.

When an E-Delivery document is sent, the following information will be logged under Notes in BriteCore:

  • BriteApps:: BriteApps mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm AM/PM text
  • The following documents were delivered to {{insured email}} on {{mm/dd/yyyy}}
  • {{Document}} text
