If you want to add a risk type that is similar to an existing risk type, you can copy the risk type, make the necessary changes, and then add the new risk type.
To copy a risk type:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Lines.
- In the Lines of Business list, select the applicable line of business.
- On the Line Overview screen, in the Products menu, navigate to and select the product with the risk type you want to copy.
- On the Product Overview screen, in the Risk Types section, select the risk type you want to copy.
- On the risk type screen, under the risk type name, select Copy Risk Type.
- In the Copy Risk Type dialog box, complete the following steps:
- In the Label box, type the label of the new risk type.
Note: The risk type name should be the same as the label, except it should start with a lowercase letter, have a capital letter at the beginning of each word, and not contain any spaces.
- In the Name box, type the name of the new risk type.
Example: A risk type with the label Driver Mailing Address should have the name driverMailingaddress.
- Select Create Copy of Risk Type. The new risk type appears in the Risk Types list on the Product Overview screen.
- In the Label box, type the label of the new risk type.
Note: You will need to edit the new risk type to make the rest of the changes.
