If you set up your account to log in with MFA using text message, you can deactivate it.
Note: MFA helps prevent unauthorized access to your account, even if your password is compromised. We highly recommend you log in using MFA using an alternative option.
To deactivate text message MFA:
- On the top-right of the screen, select your profile icon.
- Select My Account.
- In the My Account sidebar, select Security.
- Under Text Message (SMS), select Deactivate.
- In the Warning dialog box, select OK.
You have successfully deactivated text message MFA.
