Edit renewal statuses

You can set a policy’s renewal status to Renew or Non-Renewal. BriteCore will process the renewal automatically if the policy is set to renew. See the Policy renewal overview for more information.

Set the renewal status to renew

  1. Select Policies.
  2. On the Policies List screen, select a policy number to open a policy.
  3. Beside Renewal Status, select Edit to open the Renewal Status dialog box.
  4. Select Renew.
  5. Select Done.

Set the renewal status to non-renewal

  1. Select Policies.
  2. On the Policies List screen, select a policy number to open a policy.
  3. Beside Renewal Status, select Edit to open the Renewal Status dialog box.
  4. Select Non-Renewal.
  5. From the Reason dropdown list, select the reason the policy won’t be renewed.

    Note: The non-renewal reasons can be configured on the Non-Renew tab of the Policy Lifecycle settings dialog box.

  6. In the Description box, you can type a description to further explain the reason the policy won’t be renewed.
  7. Select Done.
