Enable default agency

Purpose

With the Contacts advanced setting enable_default_agency enabled, you can identify an agent’s default agency. When the agent creates a quote, the default agency will automatically populate in the agency section of the quote.

Requirements

This setting requires a True or False button

Setting default

This setting’s default value is False, so you can’t identify the default agency of an agent. When the agent creates a quote, the agency dropdown list won’t automatically populate with a default agency linked to the agent.

Changing the default

To change the default, navigate to Settings > Advanced. Search enable_default_agency. Changing enable_default_agency to True triggers the default agency box to appear in the Agencies section of the Information tab of the Contacts module. When an agent creates a quote, the agency dropdown list will automatically populate with the agency identified as the agent’s default agency.
