Enable or disable Global settings

 The Global settings determine what options will be available globally in the Policyholder portal. Some of the settings are read only. 

To enable or disable Global settings:

  1. Go to the Settings dashboard.
  2. Select Global under Settings in the sidebar.
  3. Under a global setting, there are several options:
    1. For the toggle options: Select the toggle to  enable/disable. Disabled toggles are gray; enabled toggles are blue.
    2. For text boxes: Type the text.
    3. For dropdown lists: Select a value.

Display Language Selection

During enrollment:

  • If the setting is enabled, a language selection list will appear at the bottom of the Log In screen to change the default language. This selection will be used to set the new user's preferred language.
  • If the setting is disabled, the language selection on the Log In screen won't display. The new user's preferred language will be set to the default language.

When the user is enrolled:

  • If the setting is enabled and the Default Language setting is set to English, a link on the Log In screen will display to allow the user to change to Spanish.
  • If the setting is enabled and the Default Language setting is Spanish, a link on the Log In screen will display to allow the user to change to English.
  • If the setting is disabled, the link on the Log In screen will not display.

Document Delivery Choice

  • If the setting is enabled, the Choose a Document Delivery Method section will display on Account Settings screen.
  • If the setting is disabled, the Choose a Document Delivery Method section will not display.

When user is enrolled:

  • If the setting is enabled, the Choose a Document Delivery Method section will display on the Account Settings screen.
  • If the setting is disabled, the Choose a Document Delivery Method section will not display.

Edelivery Expiration Age

A daily job deletes EDelivery and EDeliveryUserEvent entities when the age exceeds this value (in days). Age being determined by import date (create_on) and print date (print_date). If both of them exceeded expiration duration - record should be deleted. Delete process is turned off if the value is 0.
