The Event Subscription web UI allows users to add and delete event subscriptions. The API doesn’t have a
UPDATE option by design. If you create an event subscription, the only way to change it is to create a new one and then delete the original one.
Note: Customers can contact BriteCore to request that the UI is enabled on their site by adding the Integrations module in BriteDeploy for BriteCore-UI.
The web UI also provides users the ability to see recent messages sent to each subscription.
Note: The UI and API don’t enforce any authorization. Any authenticated user can create, delete, and view an event subscription. This could allow an unauthorized user to gain access to information not intended for the user.
Access the Event Subscription web UI
Step 1: On the All Products dashboard, select Integrations.
Step 2: On the Integrations screen, select Events or Events Subscriptions.
Create a new subscription
Step 3: On the Events screen, select New Subscription.
Step 4: In the New Subscription dialog box, type the Subscription URL to which the events will be sent, and select which events (by module) to subscribe to. We provide options for all events/modules or by one or more products.
The subscription is created asynchronously and won’t show unless the established protocol is followed. For more information about subscribing to events, refer to the Events documentation.
