Including an asset in a template

You can include assets in your BriteDocs templates. Image files, custom graphics, signatures, and logos are all assets in BriteDocs. BriteDocs supports all image file types for assets.

To include an asset in a template:

  1. In the BriteCore menu, select Documents.
  2. Under Explore Templates, select a folder to open it.
  3. Select the template row where you intend to add an asset.
  4. Select Editor.
  5. Select a location in the template to position your asset.
  6. Navigate to Available Functions below the Available Datapoints menu.
  7. Under Available Functions, select asset to add the asset tag.
  8. Within the asset tag, replace asset_name with the name of your uploaded asset: {% asset ‘asset name’ %}.
  9. Select Preview tab to view the asset appearance.

You have successfully included an asset in a template.
