Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a global enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that provides small and midsize businesses greater control over their financials and can simplify their supply chain, manufacturing, and operations.

Microsoft Dynamics accepts XML files, which BriteCore produces in BriteData.

BriteCore Setup

  1. Contact Microsoft sales.
  2. Complete any necessary paperwork.
  3. Work with Microsoft to install and train your staff on Dynamics processes.
  4. Complete basic BriteData training.
  5. Create three separate reports in BriteData. (Feel free to rename the reports as you see fit.)
    1. MD Claim Payments XML:
      1. Set the report to run daily.
    2. MD Commissions XML:
      1. Set the report to run once per month.
    3. MD Return Premium XML:
      1. Set the report to run daily.

BriteCore Processing

If a qualifying return premium, claim payment, or commission payment exists, a folder will be created in Reports > Attachments for a given day or month, e.g., 03/09/2016 Daily Reports and 03/2016 Month-End Reports, respectively.

To upload a file to Dynamics:

  1. Open the folder.
  2. Select on an individual file.
  3. Save the file to your computer.
  4. Upload the file to Dynamics.

FAQ

Does the check number export back to BriteCore?

Not presently. The integration works one way. You can record the check number by inputting into the individual policy’s Notes section if desired.
