The mbre_coverage_*_name_mappings settings contain the default values for Mutual Boiler Re (MBRe). Each coverage (A – G) has its own setting so you can map them to your line’s setup.
Example: If your Coverage A line items are named A. Residence, then you would update the setting labeled mbre_coverage_a_name_mappings for the Coverage A mapping.
Custom coverage name mapping setup
Upon setup, the Configuration team should review the default values to confirm they match the client’s specific lines setup. If the default values don’t match what the client configured as their line item names during the initial setup, the Configuration team should update the settings to match the client’s specific line item naming scheme.

Since line item naming schemes vary amongst clients, you can use the mbre_coverage_*_name_mappings settings to help prevent errors. When pulling reports, the custom coverage name mapping exactly matches the client’s specific line item naming scheme.
Configure and verify the coverage name mappings
Administrators can configure and verify the coverage name mappings in BriteCore.
To configure and verify the coverage name mappings:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- In the Settings menu, select Advanced.
- In the Settings Sections list, select Vendors.
- In the Vendors section, navigate to mbre_coverage_(a-g)_name_mappings.
- In the Setting Value box, add the applicable coverages.
