Legacy Search tab overview

The Legacy Search tab allows users to search and create policies within the original user interface mode for Policies. Users have the option to change between the original screen in the Legacy Search tab and the updated screen in the Policies tab.

Field descriptions

  1. Legacy Search – The Legacy Search tab allows users to search and create policies within the original user interface mode for Policies. Users have the option to change between the original screen in the Legacy Search tab and the updated screen in the Policies tab.
  2. SearchThe Search box allows users to type a search criteria so they can generate a list of matching policies. Users can search by policy number, primary named insured, policy type, current status, effective date, expiration date, address, city, state, and zip.
  3. HelpThe Help link opens a dialog box with search tips and shortcuts for users to search efficiently.
  4. View Address-Based List – The View Address-Based List button allows users to search and locate policies by entering a portion of an address as search criteria.
  5. Create a New Policy – The Create a New Policy button redirects users to the Policy Setup screen so they can enter new policy information.
  6. Create Policy (Legacy) – The Create Policy (Legacy) button opens a New Policy dialog box that redirects users to BriteCore’s legacy policy builder.
  7. Unsubmitted Applications – With the Unsubmitted Applications checkbox, users can filter the policies list by unsubmitted applications.
  8. Rejected Applications – With the Rejected Applications checkbox, users can filter the policies list by rejected applications. 
  9. Canceled Policies – With the Canceled Policies checkbox, users can filter the policy list by canceled policies.
  10. Submitted ApplicationsWith the Submitted Applications checkbox, users can filter the policies list by submitted applications.
