Dropdown list

Purpose

The Policy Types dropdown list allows users to select specific policy types so they can narrow policy list search results by those selected types.

Location

The Policy Types dropdown list appears on the Policies search screen.

Field default

By default, the Policy Types dropdown list options are hidden.

Change the default

When you select Policy Types, the dropdown values appear, providing you with available policy types to select. Selecting policy type(s) will filter the policy list by those type(s).

Usage considerations

The Policy Types dropdown list can’t be customized and behaves the same in the Provider Administrator and Agent portals. The advanced setting enable-new-policy-search must be set to True for the Policy Types dropdown to appear.
