Release notes
New BriteApps features
The Policyholder portal includes a new setting to display a View Declaration link. The Provider Administrator portal has updated columns and graphs in the Enrolled Users and Charts and Graphs dashboards. BriteCore has a new variable with the keyword {portal_code} to include in deliverables.
Stripe payment processing integration
Stripe is a third-party payment processing vendor that is now available as a payment processing option in BriteCore. With Stripe, you can add customer profiles; add/update payment methods; process one-time payments; start/stop automatic payments; and delete, void, or reverse payments.
Historical Submitted Application report
With the Historical Submitted Application report, you can get details of all submitted applications that occurred over a date range, regardless of the current status of the policy or if the policy was accepted/rejected by underwriting.
Don’t allow null notes
BriteCore has implemented changes to prevent users from adding blank or null notes to the Notes list. When you add a note in any BriteCore module, it must have a title and you must select Add Note.
Tag supplemental questions with IVANS (NxTech)
Your IVANS integration can be configured to deliver all of the information captured in BriteCore’s Supplemental Questions to agency management systems.
Remove endorsements on reinstatement advanced setting
For canceled policies, using the remove-endorsements-on-reinstatement advanced setting, administrators can determine if these endorsements remain archived when a policy is reinstated or if BriteCore unarchives and reapplies these endorsements to the policy.
Publish rewritten reports
Reports reference different data sources. Going forward, instead of all reports directly referencing your database, they will reference data extracted from your database via a standardized process. The result is a standardized data set referred to as a dataframe. This will eliminate potential discrepancies when comparing reports.
Display unbound message advanced setting
With the display-unbound-message advanced setting, administrators can create a custom message that will display on the Submit tab of the legacy quoting engine when agents submit a quote unbound for underwriter review so agents are aware that the quote is being submitted unbound.
Policyholder and Provider Administrator portals: Mobile and web versions
Various updates include new document/form arrangement on the Documents screen, name masking during enrollment, a new User Actions report, and redesigned Claims screens.
Additional Drivers
With the Additional Drivers feature, you can now add additional drivers as contacts on specific policy types. When you add contacts with the role Additional Driver to a policy, you can pull MVRs for any driver listed on the policy, even if the additional driver isn’t the named insured.
Claims screens redesign
In BriteApps, we redesigned the File a Claim and Claim Details screens of the web version of the Policyholder portal.
Predicate Push Down
The Predicate Push Down feature restructures the way the BriteData report engine queries data to optimize report run times. The amount of data required for the report is reduced, resulting in less time and system memory involved. Report duration reductions during our testing ranged from 10% to 98%.
Commission rate adjustment
With the commission rate adjustment feature, you can increase or decrease an agent’s current commission rate by up to 100%. This feature relies on the configuration of rules that determine how commissions will be tailored for your company.
Dispute claims
By enabling the advanced setting add-loss-disputes, agents can dispute vendor-reported claims on a policy or application using the Add Dispute button. When a user selects the Add Dispute button, a dialog box will open and the user can type the reason for disputing the vendor reported loss.
Description box required for submission
With the advanced setting require-additional-description, you can now make the Additional Description box a required field for application or endorsement submission in Quote.
Custom renewal installments
Users can customize the following renewal installment details: Send Installment Notice and Factor of Total Premium Due.
BriteApps: Add a Missing Policy feature and other updates
Updates to BriteApps include the Add a Missing Policy feature, changes to the Your Account screen (mobile), a link to Documents in the BriteApps menu, and redesigned Upload Photos features and Contact screens.
LexisNexis Advanced Linking
LexisNexis leveraged their Advanced Linking technology to improve their products’ Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) compliance, as well as enhanced the credit report results you receive when an insured experiences identity theft or a security freeze, or when the insured’s information was flagged for fraud or legal hold.
e2Value XML and modal integrations
This update describes the options available for integrating with e2Value.
Buttons on the Policy Builder rating table
Two new buttons—Open All and Collapse All—are now available in the Policy Builder rating table. When you select these buttons, you can expand or collapse all section arrows at once.
