Create Rules projects from the UI
New Rules projects could only be created through an API, which made it difficult to and limited the number of people who have the ability or skill set to create new projects for clients.
To make this process easier for everyone, we added the ability to easily create new projects from the Rules UI and expanded the types of projects that can be created.

Billing – Void return premium replaces delete return premium
Currently, you can delete exported return premiums from the Accounts Receivable screen in BriteCore. However, we’re removing the option to delete an exported return premium and adding the option to void an exported return premium.
Classic Policies: Delay cancellation per policy
Delay Cancellation is a new feature in classic Policies that allows additional time for an insured to pay a policy without extending the cancellation effective date. A delay can now be placed on a per-policy basis.
Underwriter Workbench improvements
Since it can be time-consuming going back and forth between BriteQuote and the Underwriter Review Summary to review a quote, added tools to make the process quicker and easier.
Silvervine is now payCloud.io
Silvervine (Primoris) is now payCloud.io. All references to Silvervine or Primoris on the Help site have been changed to payCloud.io.
Process payment prior to bind
With the new advanced setting process-payment-at-bind, carriers can require an initial payment during the quoting process before a policy is bound and issued.
BriteQuote – Setting time zones for quoting release notes
In BriteCore, you can now set the time zones for an individual product. The time zones set will be used to determine the quoting restrictions allowed for effective date tolerances.
Policy overview plugin slots
Previously, integration UI plugin slots were only available in the quote flow. Now, plugins are available on the Policy Overview screen.
BriteLines – Delete product versions
Currently, there is no way to delete an unwanted product version. We created a way for you to delete all draft non-initial product versions.
BriteLines events emitted for product versions
BriteLines will now emit two new events when a product version is created or updated: bc.lines.version_created and bc.lines.version_updated.
Renew Non-renewed Expired BritePolicies
Previously, when a policy was non-renewed or expired, if the risk was reapproved, the policy would need to be written as a new policy. We have made some changes that allow clients to renew an expired policy.
