Revert a published product version to a draft

As long as the effective date is still in the future, you can revert a published product version to a draft.

Note: A product version goes into effect on its effective date, so you can’t revert it to a draft after the effective date.

If a published product version has an effective date in the future, you can revert it to the Draft state.

Note: If a Draft version already exists, then the Revert to draft option won’t be available, because you can have only one Draft version at a time.

To revert a published product version to Draft:

  1. In the BriteCore menu, select Lines.
  2. In the Lines of Business list, select the applicable line of business.
  3. On the Line Overview screen, in the Products menu, navigate to and select the applicable product.
  4. On the Product Overview screen, under Version, complete the following steps:
    1. Select the applicable version.

Note: If a Draft version already exists, then the Revert to draft option won’t be available, because you can have only one Draft version at a time.

    2. In the list of versions, navigate to the version you want to edit, select the actions icon  and then select Revert to draft.

Note: The published product version’s effective date has to be in the future for the Revert to draft option to appear.

You have successfully reverted a published product version to a draft.
