Claims

Select a reinsurance contract

You can add a reinsurance contract to a claim in the Information screen of the claim. To add a reinsurance contract, access the desired claim and:

  1. Navigate to the Reinsurance Contracts section of the Information screen.
  2. Select the Select a Contract button. The Reinsurance Contract dialog box will open.

  3. A list of reinsurance contracts will display. Select the reinsurance contract you want to add to the claim. BriteCore will return you to the Information screen of the claim, and the name of the reinsurance contract will appear in the Reinsurance Contracts section. If you don’t see the reinsurance contract you want to select, move to step 4.
  4. In the Search box, type the reinsurance contract search criteria, such as the Contract ID or the Reinsurer. Then select Go.
  5. From the generated search results, select the reinsurance contract you want to add to the claim. BriteCore will return you to the Information screen of the claim. The name of the reinsurance contract will appear in the Reinsurance Contracts section.
