Send a broadcast message to all users not enrolled in eDelivery with BriteApps

You can send a broadcast message to all users not enrolled in eDelivery with BriteApps.

To send a broadcast message to all users not enrolled in eDelivery:

  1. On the User Messages dashboard, select Create Broadcast Message.
  2. In the Broadcast Messages dropdown list, select All users not enrolled in eDelivery. The number of users selected displays next to the field.
  3. In the Message Title box, type a title.
  4. In the Message Details box, type your message.

    Note: Both the Message Title and Message Details fields are required. An error correction alert will appear if you try to send a message without completing one or both of these fields.

  5. Type a Broadcast Name. This is optional.
  6. Under Choose the channels to deliver this message, select one or more of the following options:
    • Message center: Send the message to the Insured portal.
    • Push: Send a notification to the enrolled user’s phone. For push notifications to work, the enrolled user has to turn on notifications on their phone.
    • Email: Send the message via email.
  7. To choose a future date and time when the message should be delivered, select Send at a specific date/time.

    Note: Messages will be sent during the next processing window, which may not align exactly with the time selected. This is optional.

    1. In the Choose the future date and time when the message should be delivered box, select a date on the date picker calendar.
    2. Select a delivery time on top of the date picker calendar.
    3. To commit your selection and close the picker, select OK, press Enter/Return, or select outside of the date picker calendar.
  8. To choose the date and time when the message will automatically be dismissed from the Message Center, select Dismiss date/time.

    Note: This applies only to messages in the Message Center within the Insured Portal. Messages will be deleted during the next processing window, which may not align exactly with the time selected. This is optional.

    1. In the Choose the date and time when the message will automatically be dismissed from the Message Center box, select a date on the date picker calendar.
    2. Select a delivery time on top of the date picker calendar.
    3. To commit your selection and close the picker, select OK, press Enter/Return, or select outside of the date picker calendar.
  9. Select Send.
  10. On the Broadcast Message dialog box, select Send again to confirm.

A confirmation dialog box will appear, stating Success The message(s) will be delivered soon.
