Set up Lines Categories

You can set up Categories in the Lines module.

To set up Categories:

  1. In the BriteCore menu, select Lines.
  2. On the Effective Dates screen, select the applicable effective date.
  3. On the Policy Types screen, complete the following steps:
    1. In the Select State or Province dropdown, select a state or province.
    2. Navigate to the applicable Policy Type, and then select Edit .
  4. On the Details screen, navigate to the applicable Line Item, and then select Edit .
  5. On the Edit Line Item screen, select Rating.
  6. In the Chain Details section, select Rate Categories, and then select Add a Category .
  7. In the Category dialog box, complete the following steps:
    1. In the Category Type dropdown list, select a type.
    2. In the Dec Order box, type the order number in which it appears on the Declaration.
    3. In the Options box, complete the applicable boxes.
    4. At the bottom of the dialog box, select the applicable options.
    5. Select Done.
  8. At the bottom of the screen, select Save, and then select Exit.
