Set up policy contacts

Clients have some configuration options regarding contacts on a policy.

Agents or agencies

Clients can attach either agents or agencies to policies.

Note: Clients should contact BriteCore customer service to request this change.

To attach either agents or agencies to policies:

  1. In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
  2. In the Settings menu, select Modules, and then select Policies.
  3. On the Policies screen, under Contacts, select one of the following options:
    1. Attach an Agent to a Policy
    2. Attach an Agency to a Policy

Premium finance company

Clients can track premium finance companies on policies.

To track premium finance companies on policies:

  1. In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
  2. In the Settings menu, select Modules, and then select Policies.
  3. On the Policies screen, under Contacts, select Show Premium Finance Company.

Additional interests

Clients can set a definable list of interests a contact may have on a policy (e.g., additional insured, trustee or alternate payer). When a contact is added to a policy, the user may select from these options. To enable:

  1. In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
  2. In the Settings menu, select Modules, and then select Policies.
  3. On the Policies screen, under Contacts, in the Suggested Interests box, type the applicable suggested interests, separated by commas.

Mortgagees

Clients can set a definable list of designations a mortgagee may have on a policy. When a mortgagee is added to a policy, the user may select from these options. To enable:

  1. In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
  2. In the Settings menu, select Modules, and then select Policies.
  3. On the Policies screen, under Contacts, in the Mortgagee Types box, type the applicable types of mortgagees, separated by commas.
