Set up multi-factor authentication using text message

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) increases security by requiring two forms of authentication during login—a special code and unique username/password.

With BriteAuth, you can set up MFA in two ways:

  1. Set up MFA using a text message
  2. Set up MFA using an authenticator app

To set up MFA using text message:

  1. On the top-right of the screen, select your profile icon.
  2. Select My Account.
  3. On the My Account sidebar, select Security.
  4. Select Set up Multi-factor Authentication.
  5. Select Text Message (SMS).
  6. Select Next.
  7. In Enter Phone Number, type your phone number.
  8. Select Next.
  9. In the Validate Phone dialog box, type the code you receive as a text message.
  10. Select Validate.
  11. Select Activate.

You have successfully set up MFA using text message.
