Suppress claim status supervisor email

Claims

Purpose

With the suppress_claim_status_supervisor_email advanced setting, you can disable the automatic email that is sent to claims supervisors when the claim status changes.

Requirements

This setting requires True and False buttons.

Setting default

By default, suppress_claim_status_supervisor_email is set to False, so BriteCore will automatically send an email to the claim supervisor when the claim status changes.

Changing the default

To change the default, navigate to Settings > Advanced and search for suppress_claim_status_supervisor_email. Change the setting to True, so BriteCore won’t send an email to the claim supervisor when the claim status changes.

Adoption considerations

This advanced setting can conflict with the Disable Claims Emails setting in Settings > Modules > Claims. When the Disable Claims Emails setting is enabled, all claims emails are disabled, even if the suppress_claim_status_supervisor_email advanced setting is set to False.
