Titanium Blizzard setup

Titanium Blizzard is a Windows application that enables you to print BriteCore deliverables on a local printer. The application is maintained by BriteCore.

Prerequisites

You will need to contact BriteCore staff to request an API key. If your API key needs to be updated, contact BriteCore staff to request a new key and complete the steps under Implement Titanium Blizzard.

Implementation

Titanium Blizzard can be installed on a Windows computer.

Install Titanium Blizzard

To install Titanium Blizzard:

  1. Download the Titanium Blizzard .zip file.
  2. Save the titanium.zip file.
  3. Navigate to the file.
  4. Right-click on the file, and then select Extract All.
  5. In the Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders dialog box, select Extract.
  6. In the titanium folder, right-click setup (may appear as setup.exe).
  7. Select Run as administrator.

Note: If prompted in the User Account Control dialog box, select Yes.

  1. In the Application Install dialog box, select Install.

Implement Titanium Blizzard

To implement Titanium Blizzard:

  1. Open Titanium Blizzard.
  2. In the top-left, select Titanium Blizzard Menu.
  3. Select Configuration.
  4. In the BriteCore URL box, type your company’s BriteCore URL.

    Note: You can verify this URL with BriteCore staff.

  5. In the BriteCore API key box, type the API key that BriteCore staff generated for you.
  6. Select Save and Close.

Add a printer to Titanium Blizzard

To add printers to Titanium Blizzard:

  1. Open Titanium Blizzard.
  2. In the top-left, select Titanium Blizzard Menu.
  3. Select Configuration.
  4. Under the BriteCore Printers box, select Add.
  5. Select the printer you want to add.
  6. To use auto-print, configure document sorting and tray routing.

    Note: Auto-print is enabled by default. For more information, see Printing automatically with Titanium Blizzard.

  7. Select Save and Close.

Use Titanium Blizzard

To automatically or manually print with Titanium Blizzard:

  • Your computer must be on and connected to the Internet.
  • Your printer must be connected to your computer.
  • You must be logged into your user account.
  • Titanium Blizzard must be open.
