Update a payment method

You can update payment methods in the Payments tab of a contact.

To update a payment method, open the Payments tab of the desired contact and:

  1. Beneath Financial Accounts, select the pencil icon next to the payment method you want to update. The Payment Method dialog box will open.
  2. Edit the information you want to update.
  3. When you are finished updating information, select OK and you will return to the Payments tab of the contact. If you select Cancel or X, you will return to the Payments tab without saving the updated information.

Usage considerations

When updating information, you can’t update the type of payment method. If you need to add a new payment method, see Add a credit card payment method or Add an ACH payment method.
