Verify a user’s phone number or email address

To enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) using text messages or email, a user must have a verified phone number or email address.

While a user can verify their own phone number or email address, as an administrator, you also can verify the phone number or email address of any user.  

To verify a user’s email address or phone number:

  1. In the BriteCore menu, select Users
  2. In the Search box, type the user’s name.
  3. Select the name of the user to open the Edit User screen.
  4. Under Personal Information, next to Email and/or Phone Number, select verify now.
  5. Select Save changes.
