In WordPress, you can create a post for an Advanced setting like you create any other post but make sure you select the correct categories to ensure it populates in the proper section of the Advanced settings page.

To create an Advanced setting post:

  1. On the Dashboard, select Posts.
  2. On the Add New Post screen, complete the following steps:
    1. In the Add title box, type the name of the setting.
    2. In the text editor, add your content.
  3. In the Categories box, complete the following steps:
    1. Select Settings, Advanced settings, and [setting name].
    2. To the right of Advanced settings, select Make primary.
  4. Select Publish.

Note: The setting will automatically populate on the Advanced settings screen in the list under the heading of the category you selected in step 3a.
