Column

Purpose

The Zipcode column allows users to sort the policy list table by ZIP code in ascending numerical order or descending numerical order.

Location

The Zipcode column appears on the policy list table in the Policies search screen when the address-based list is open.

Field default

By default, the policy list table is sorted by the initial date policies are added to BriteCore, in reverse chronological order.

Change the default

Select the Zipcode column once to sort the policy list table by ZIP code in ascending numerical order.

Select the Zipcode column a second time to sort the policy list table by ZIP code in descending numerical order.

Select the Zipcode column a third time to return the policy list table to its original state.

Usage considerations

The Zipcode column behaves the same in both the Provider Administrator and Agent portals. To sort by the Zipcode column, you must set the advanced setting enable-new-policy-search to True and the address-based list must be open. If the policy list table is sorted by another column, select the Zipcode column to override the policy list table arrangement and sort by ZIP code.
