You can create an InsVista test file before or after a client site goes live.
Live client site
To create an InsVista test file for a live site:
- Access shell tools > vendors > insvista.
Non-live client site
You can create two types of InsVista test files before a client site goes live:
- HO file
- BG file

HO file
To create an HO file for a non-live site:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Policies.
- On the Policies screen, select Create a New Policy.
- Create a new policy, and then complete the following steps:
- Select the Add a Mortgagee icon
, and then add the mortgagee information.
- In the Recipient dropdown list, select the mortgagee.
- Rate the policy.
- Commit the policy.
- Select the Add a Mortgagee icon
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have created five different policies.
Note: Use the same effective date for all of the policies.
- Access shell tools > vendors > insvista, and then run the HO tool.
- Open Cyberduck, and then download the file(s).
- Combine all of the records into one file.
BG file
To create a BG file for a non-live site:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Policies.
- On the Policies screen, select Create a New Policy.
- Create a new policy, and then complete the following steps:
- Select the Add a Mortgagee icon
, and then add the mortgagee information.
- In the Recipient dropdown list, select the mortgagee.
- Select the Add a Mortgagee icon
- On the Accounts Receivable screen, select Billing Setup, and then complete the following steps:
- Under Recurring Billing Contact, in the Recipient dropdown list, select the mortgagee.
- In the Invoice Frequency dropdown list, select Escrow Billing.
Note: You have to select the mortgagee as the billing recipient before the Escrow Billing option appears.
- In the Policy menu, select Overview, and then select Information.
- On the Information screen, under Policy ID, copy the policy’s ID.
- For policy_terms.policyId, paste the policy’s ID.
- Navigate to and copy the policy_terms.billSchedId UUID (escrow billing schedule ID) and the policy_terms.firstBillWhomId UUID(mortgagee’s contact ID), and then run an update statement to set them.
- Run an update statement to set files.printState=’printed’ and files.actualPrintDate to today’s date.
- Access shell tools > vendors > insvista, and then run the BG tool.
- Open Cyberduck, and then download the file(s).
- Combine all of the records into one file.
