Set up an Authorize.Net account
To set up an Authorize.Net account:
- Complete the online application.
- In your confirmation email from Authorize.Net, locate your API Login ID and TransactionKey.
Note: If you lose your Transaction Key, log in to Authorize.net, navigate to Account > Settings > Security Settings > API Login ID and Transaction Key, and then answer the Secret Question to generate a new key.
- In the Authorize.Net portal, follow Authorize.Net’s documentation to set up your Authorize.net account.
To enable Authorize.Net to communicate with BriteCore:
Note: Perform the following steps in Authorize.net.
- In the Authorize.net portal, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Tools > Customer Information Manager, and then enable Customer Information Manager.
- Navigate to Account > Settings > Security Settings > Transaction Details API > Enable Transaction Details API, and then enable Transaction Details API.
Note: You will need the answer to the Secret Question to proceed.
- Navigate to Account > Settings > Transaction Format Settings > Payment Form > Form Fields, and then verify your Payment Form settings.
Enable the Authorize.Net integration in BriteCore
To enable the Authorize.Net integration in BriteCore:
Note: Perform the following steps in BriteCore.
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- In the Settings menu, select Vendors.
- Under Payment Processing, select Authorize.net (Card Not Present).
Turn off Test Mode
To turn off Test Mode in Authorize.Net:
Note: Perform the following steps in Authorize.net.
- Log in to Authorize.net.
- Navigate to Account > Settings > Test Mode, and then select Turn Test Mode OFF.
BriteCore can now process a test payment.
