Prefill Services setup

Prefill Services uses the 360Value API call to get data for use in preliminary quoting.

Note:You can also use this data for rate categories.

Vendor setup

To set up an ISO account:

1. Contact ISO and secure a contract.
2. Obtain the following information from ISO:
   • A User ID
   • A Group ID
   • Password

BriteCore setup

Prefill Services has a setup similar to 360Value.

Set up Prefill Services in BriteCore

1. In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
2. In the Settings menu, select Vendors.
3. On the Vendors screen, under Property Valuation, select Prefill Services.
4. Next to Prefill Services, select the edit icon .
5. In the Prefill Services dialog box, complete the following steps:
   1. In the User Id box, type the User ID.
   2. In the Group Id box, type the Group ID.
   3. In the Password box, type the password.
   4. If you want to require a user name, select Require Insured Name.
   5. Select Done.
6. At the top or bottom of the screen, select Save.

Set up Prefill Services in Lines

1. In the BriteCore menu, select Lines.
2. On the Effective Dates screen, select the applicable effective date.
3. On the Policy Types screen, complete the following steps:
   1. In the Select State or Province dropdown, select a state or province.
   2. Navigate to the applicable Policy Type, and then select the edit icon .
4. On the Details screen, navigate to the applicable line item, and then select the edit icon .
5. On the Edit Line Item screen, select Rating.
6. In the Chain Details section, select Rate Categories, next to Add a Category, select the green plus icon .
7. In the Category dialog box, complete the following steps:
   1. In the Category Type dropdown list, select ISO Prefill, and then select the applicable data element.
   2. To set defaults for data elements, see Set Defaults for Data Elements below.
   1. Select Done.
8. At the bottom of the screen, select Save.

Set Defaults for Data Elements

Note: You can set defaults for ISO Prefill rate categories in case BriteCore fails to pull prefill data.

Most data elements:

After selecting ISO Prefill from the Category Type dropdown list:

1. In the Data Element dropdown list, select the applicable data element.
2. In the Options table, next to the desired option, select Default.
3. Repeat step 2 for each default you want to set.
4. Select Done.
5. At the bottom of the screen, select Save.

Year Built:

After selecting ISO Prefill from the Category Type dropdown list:

1. In the Data Element dropdown list, select Year Built.
2. In the Default Year Built box, type a default year built.
3. Select Done.
4. At the bottom of the screen, select Save.

Wood Framing Category:

After selecting ISO Prefill from the Category Type dropdown list:

1. In the Category Type dropdown list, select ISO Prefill.
2. In theData Elementdropdown list, select Wood Framing Category.
3. For the Default Wood Frame Percentage, select one of the following:
   • Percent > Value
   • Percent < Value
4. Select Done.
5. At the bottom of the screen, select Save.

BriteCore processing

• In the Agent Portal, in the Policy Builder, on the Policy tab, select Get Prefill Data.

Note: Any fields that Prefill Services has data for will be automatically populated.
