Why use this integration?
Tiger Risk’s Catastrophe Quotient (TigerCQ), developed by Howden Re, is a software platform designed for risk management and decision support in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. It provides advanced analytics, modeling, and reporting tools to help companies assess and manage their risk exposure more effectively. The platform aims to integrate and streamline various aspects of risk management, including catastrophe modeling, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. The BriteCore integration specifically retrieves risks scores and evaluates properties against certain risk factors using two models provided by TigerCQ:
- AIR Worldwide: Known for its extensive range of catastrophe models and risk analytics, AIR provides data and modeling services for various perils including hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, and more. TigerCQ integrates AIR’s modeling capabilities to enhance its policy evaluation service, helping users assess potential risks and impacts associated with their insurance policies.
- RMS (Risk Management Solutions): RMS is a leading provider of catastrophe risk modeling and analytics. It offers models and data for assessing a wide range of natural and man-made disasters, including hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, and more. TigerCQ leverages RMS's catastrophe models and data to provide users with detailed quotes and risk assessments for catastrophic events. This integration enhances the platform's ability to evaluate potential losses and manage risks effectively.
