Overview
The disable-credit-cards-insured-checkout setting allows insurance carriers to manage the acceptance of credit card payments on the secure checkout page. This flexibility helps carriers avoid credit card fees and chargebacks without impacting existing or recurring payments made via credit card.
Setting Options
The disable-credit-cards-insured-checkout setting provides the following options:
- disable-auth: Disables credit card payments on the Accounts Receivable screen.
- disable-public: Disables credit card payments on the "public" secure checkout screen.
- disable-both: Disables credit card payments in both contexts.
Behavior
- When enabled (set to a disable-* option), insureds will no longer see credit card payment options in the corresponding UI sections.
- Scheduled or recurring payments using credit cards will remain unaffected to ensure uninterrupted transactions.
This setting offers precise control over payment methods, allowing carriers to tailor their payment acceptance processes to their operational and financial preferences.
