Roles, Access, and Permissions
3. Roles, Access, and Support Boundaries
3.1 Access
Access to SQL Editor is permission-controlled. An administrator must grant access before a user can see or use the feature.
This ensures that only users with appropriate data access can create or modify reports, while other users can still consume published reports safely.
3.2 Read-Only Model
SQL Editor operates in a read-only model against approved logical views.
Users cannot modify raw production tables or change underlying system data. This allows teams to build and refine reports confidently, knowing they are not affecting operational systems.
In short: you can analyze freely, but you cannot accidentally change production data.
