The BriteCore Policyholder Portal is the self-service experience BriteCore carriers offer their insureds — delivered as three connected surfaces that share one configuration:
- A branded web portal at your custom domain (for example,
portal.yourcompany.com). - A native iOS app in the Apple App Store under your carrier brand.
- A native Android app in Google Play under your carrier brand.
All three surfaces read live policy, billing, and claims data from your BriteCore instance through a secured API. There is no middleware, no nightly sync, and no separate database — what a policyholder sees is what your CSR sees.
What policyholders can do in the portal
- Look up their policy, coverages, deductibles, and listed insureds, vehicles, or locations.
- Download policy documents — declarations pages, endorsements, renewal notices, ID cards.
- Pay a bill one time or set up autopay (ACH, credit card, debit card).
- Submit a First Notice of Loss with photos directly from a phone.
- Track claim status and message their adjuster.
- Update contact info, choose paperless billing, and manage notifications.
- Reach their agent with one tap.
What carriers configure
Carriers control everything that appears on those three surfaces from a single admin console at client.briteapps.com. There are five configuration areas:
- Settings — feature toggles, password policy, enrollment, notifications.
- Content — every string on every page, including footers and legal disclosures.
- Templates — email, push, SMS, header, and footer templates.
- Appearance — logos, favicons, hero imagery, and splash art.
- Colors — primary, secondary, background, text, and semantic colors (success, warning, error).
No code changes, no support tickets — your team edits and the changes flow to web, iOS, and Android.
Who this help center is for
These articles are written for the people who operate the portal:
- Carrier admins who configure branding, content, and feature toggles.
- CSRs who answer policyholder questions and resolve sign-in issues.
- Agents who guide insureds through enrollment and basic self-service.
End-policyholders have a separate, simpler set of help content delivered inside the portal itself.
