This Privacy Policy describes how Intuitive Web Solutions, LLC d/b/a BriteCore ("BriteCore," "we," "us") handles information when you use the BriteCore MCP server and BriteCore plugin for Claude (the "Connector"). The Connector allows authorized users of Anthropic's Claude products to interact with their organization's BriteCore platform, including policy, claims, reporting, lines configuration, and document capabilities.
This policy applies only to the Connector. Information practices for visitors to our website are described in the BriteCore Privacy Policy. Use of the BriteCore platform itself is governed by your organization's agreement with BriteCore. Use of Claude is governed by Anthropic's terms and privacy policy.
1. How the Connector Works
The Connector lets Claude read from and act on your organization's BriteCore environment at the direction of an authenticated user. When you make a request in Claude that uses the Connector, Claude sends the request to the Connector, the Connector executes it against your BriteCore site using your authorized credentials, and the results are returned to Claude to respond to you. The Connector is an interface to your organization's own BriteCore system; your organization's platform agreements continue to govern the underlying data.
The Connector does not maintain its own database of your content. It does not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes, and it does not use your data for advertising or to train machine learning models.
2. Information Processed by the Connector
To perform its function, the Connector processes the following categories of information:
Account and authentication information. Your identity and OAuth tokens identifying you and your BriteCore site, used to verify that you are permitted to access your organization's BriteCore environment and to determine your role and permissions. Request and response data, at your direction. The content of the requests Claude sends on your behalf and the data returned by your BriteCore environment — policy, claim, contact, rating-configuration, and reporting data. This may include personal information held in your organization's BriteCore environment, such as names, addresses, and policy or claim details of insureds, agents, and other contacts. BriteCore processes this information on behalf of your organization, which remains the controller of that data. Content returned by a tool becomes part of your Claude conversation and is then governed by Anthropic's terms and your organization's Claude data settings. BriteCore recommends that you review those data settings, and disable training in the Claude application settings.
Files. Documents you upload for processing and documents generated on request (templates, PDFs). Working files live in a per-session workspace and are deleted with the session; documents you attach to policies or claims are stored in your BriteCore site like any other attachment.
Operational data. Standard technical logs necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, such as timestamps, request identifiers, tool names invoked, and error messages.
What we do not collect. The Connector accesses only the data necessary to fulfill each specific request. It does not read or store Claude conversation content beyond the tool calls you invoke, and does not collect conversation data for logging, training, or analytics.
3. Data Retention
Request and response data is processed transiently to fulfill each request and is not persisted by the Connector after the request completes. Session working files are deleted at session end. Data written to your BriteCore site (attachments, notes, reports, rules, quotes) is retained per your site's configuration and your agreements with BriteCore. OAuth tokens are retained only for the duration of your authorized session or until revoked. Operational logs are retained only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting, and operational purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
4. Third-Party Sub-Processors and Sharing
The Connector exchanges data between (a) Anthropic's Claude services, acting on your instruction, and (b) your organization's BriteCore environment. To provide specific capabilities, we use the following sub-processors, which process data solely on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:
- Carbone — document template storage, validation, and rendering (templates and merge data are transmitted for rendering).
- ConvertAPI — PDF-to-DOCX conversion (file bytes transmitted for conversion).
- Amazon Web Services (S3) — file storage for your BriteCore site, accessed via presigned URLs.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of BriteCore, our customers, or others. Anthropic's handling of your prompts, conversation content, and Connector results displayed in Claude is governed by Anthropic's own privacy policy and your organization's agreement with Anthropic.
5. Security
BriteCore maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information processed by the Connector, including encryption in transit (TLS) and authenticated, role-scoped access. Access through the Connector is limited by the same permissions your organization has assigned to your BriteCore user account. To report a vulnerability, contact security@britecore.com.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can disconnect the Connector at any time through your Claude settings; revoking access in BriteCore invalidates its tokens. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding personal information, such as access, correction, or deletion. Because the personal information the Connector processes resides in your organization's BriteCore environment, requests concerning that data should generally be directed to your organization (the data controller). We will assist our customers in responding to such requests as required by applicable law.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date, and where required we will provide additional notice. Continued use of the Connector after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Contact Us
