In BriteCore, you can use System Tags to tag line items. Using tagged line items in conjunction with BriteData allows you to produce clean and powerful reports.
Add Line item tags
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- In the Settings menu, under System Wide, select System Tags.
- In the Select a Tag dropdown list, select the tag you want to use.
- In the Select an Effective Date dropdown list, select an effective date, and then select Tag New Items.
- In the Add section, in the Named box, type the name of the line item you want to tag, and then select the magnifying glass icon .
- In the Search Results table, in the Select column, select the line items you want to tag.
Note: To select all of the search results, select Select All.
- Select Done. The Done button appears after the end of the search results.
Remove Line item tags
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- In the Settings menu, under System Wide, select System Tags.
- In the Select a Tag dropdown list, select the tag you want to use.
- In the Select an Effective Date dropdown list, select an effective date. A table of tagged Line items appears.
- On the row of the Line item you want to remove the tag from, in the right column, select the x icon to remove the tag. Repeat as needed. To clear all tags, select the x icon next to the Tag all items box.
- Select Done.
