Purpose
With the mfa-enabled advanced setting in the login section, administrators can enable multi-factor authentication, requiring users to provide their login credentials and a special code to log in.
Requirements
This setting requires a True/False toggle button.
Setting default
This setting's default value is False, so BriteCore won't require multi-factor authentication. With multi-factor authentication turned off, users provide only their username and password to log in.
Change the default
Changing mfa-enabled to True allows users to enable mutli-factor authentication in the Contact module's Security tab. For more information about setting up multi-factor authentication, see Set up multi-factor authentication. For more information about logging in using multi-factor authentication, see Log in using multi-factor authentication.
Adoption considerations
The Allow users to enable Multi-Factor Authentication setting on the Login Information screen (Settings > System Wide > Login Information) is the same as the mfa-enabled advanced setting. If you enable one setting, BriteCore updates the other setting to match.
