e2Value is a leading provider of web-based insurance-to-value (ITV) software.
General setup
To complete the general e2Value setup:
- Determine whether you want to use e2Value’s Basic or Advanced Portico.
- Contact e2Value.
- Complete the required e2Value paperwork.
- Get the following information from e2Value:
- Your username.
- Your password.
- The type of portico: Basic or Advanced.
- The product name.
BriteCore setup
To complete the e2Value setup in BriteCore, you will need to:
- Set up the vendor integration.
- Configure quoting to allow property valuations only on applications.
- Enable property valuation for the policy type.
- Disallow specific agencies from accessing e2Value reports.
Vendor
You may receive two sets of usernames and passwords from e2Value:
- The external (agents) username can view and edit only user-created valuations.
- The internal (staff) username has a higher permission level, allowing users to view and edit all account valuations.
To set up the e2Value integration in BriteCore:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- In the Settings menu, select Vendors.
- On the Vendors screen, under Property Valuation, select e2Value.
- Next to e2Value, select the edit icon .
- In the e2Value dialog box, complete the following:
- In the Username box, type your username.
Note: If you received two sets of usernames and passwords from e2Value, type the external (agents) username.
- In the Password box, type your password.
- Under Portico Integration Type, select one of the following:
- Basic Integration: Eliminates the need for a user to log in to e2Value when accessing the site in BriteCore.
- Advanced Integration: Eliminates the need for a user to login to e2Value when accessing the site in BriteCore and also enables information to be transmitted from BriteCore to e2Value to reduce input duplication, which currently includes the risk address, property valuation, and PDF.
- In the Product URL dropdown list, select the product name you received from e2Value.
Note: The Product URL is the product agents will be directed to when retrieving an estimate.
- Select Done.
- In the Username box, type your username.
Quoting
To ensure agents access e2Value reports on only applications:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Settings.
- In the Settings menu, select Modules, and then select Agent Portal.
- On the Agent Portal screen, under Options, select Allow property valuations only on applications.
Lines
To enable property valuation for the policy type:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Lines.
- On the Effective Dates screen, select the applicable effective date.
- On the Policy Types screen, next to the applicable policy type, select the edit icon .
- On the Details screen, select Allow Property Valuation.
Note: Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each applicable policy type.
When e2Value is enabled in BriteCore, the Open e2Value button appears on the policy builder screen in both the Provider Administrator and Agent portals.
Contacts
In BriteCore, by default, agencies can access e2Value reports. Clients can disallow specific agencies from accessing e2Value reports.
To disallow specific agencies from accessing e2Value reports:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Contacts.
- On the Contacts List screen, navigate to and select the agency you want to disallow from accessing e2Value reports.
- On the Information screen, under Role, complete the following steps:
- Ensure Agency role is selected.
- Select Disallow e2Value.
BriteCore processing
You can set up processing for the Basic and Advanced integrations in both the Provider Administrator and Agent portals.
Open e2Value in the Provider Administrator portal
To open e2Value in the Provider Administrator portal:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Policies.
- On the Policy Search screen, navigate to and select the applicable policy.
- On the Policy screen, select Builder, and then select Open e2Value.
Open e2Value in the Agent portal
To open e2Value in the Agent portal:
- In the BriteCore menu, select Policies.
- On the Policy Search screen, navigate to and select the applicable policy.
- On the Policy Setup screen, navigate to Rating, and then, under Primary Exposures, select Open e2Value.
Basic integration setup
To set up the Basic integration:
- Ine2Value, complete the Residential Estimate.
- Retrieve the report.
- On the Policy screen, select Attachments.
- On the Attachments screen, select Upload Files.
- In the Upload Files dialog box, drop or upload the report, and then select OK.
Advanced integration setup
To set up the Advanced integration:
- Ine2Value, complete the Residential Estimate.
Note: The report is automatically uploaded to application and policy in the e2Value Property Information folder under Attachments. Refresh the screen to access the document.
Additional information
- In the BriteCore Agent portal, the Replacement Cost appears next to the Open e2Value button.
- In the Provider Administrator portal, the Replacement Cost appears in the Primary Exposures section of the policy builder.
- If the agent closes the e2Value dialog box during processing, another dialog box will appear stating the property valuation wasn’t transferred to BriteCore.
- If an agent selects Open e2Value again for the same property, they will be directed to the existing e2Value form.
- If the property is removed from the application or policy, the PDF file will be archived.
- The report file name will be in the following format:e2_value_{address_line_1}.pdf.
- The report will be attached to the Application submitted from BriteQuote administrative alert email sent upon application submission.
