The display-negative-sign-on-transaction setting controls whether a negative sign is shown on any amount in a transaction that reduces the amount owed on a policy.
Steps to Configure the Setting:
- Log in as an Admin to access the system settings.
- Navigate to Settings >> Advanced.
- Enable or disable the display-negative-sign-on-transaction setting. Set it to True to display the negative sign on applicable transactions.
How it Works:
- When this setting is enabled (set to True), any transaction that results in a reduction of the amount owed on a policy will show a negative sign.
- To check, go to the Account Receivable screen under Policies and review the Account History.
- Transactions that reduce the Trailing Balance will now display with a negative sign, providing a clear indication of the deduction.
