use-v2 Payment Setting

The use-v2 advanced setting in BriteCore controls whether the updated (version 2) payment processing engine and user interface are enabled in your system. This setting allows organizations to adopt new payment features, improvements, and workflows introduced in the v2 payment module.

Enabling use-v2 activates the following:

• Modern Payment Screens:
  Access to redesigned and more intuitive payment pages for both admin and agent users.
• Enhanced Payment Workflows:
  Improved logic for accepting, tracking, and managing payments, including support for additional payment methods and streamlined processes.

• Performance and Security:
  Benefit from optimizations and security improvements implemented in the latest payment engine.

   

• Set to True:
  The new v2 payment engine and screens are enabled for your organization.
• Set to False:
  The system continues to use the legacy (v1) payment module and its workflows.

1. Access Advanced Settings:
   Go to the Advanced Settings section in your BriteCore admin interface.
2. Locate use-v2:
   Find the use-v2 option in the list of advanced settings.
3. Enable or Disable:
   • Set to true  to enable v2 payments.
   • Set to false to keep using the legacy version.

4. Save Changes:
   Ensure you save your changes after updating the setting. }

    

Enabling use-v2 may impact how payments are processed and displayed in your system. Confirm compatibility with any third-party integrations and notify your support team of the change.
