You can designate recipients to receive an email notification when a payment is marked as Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF).
To set up email notifications for NSF payments:
- Navigate to Settings > System Wide > Administrative Alerts > Policies.
- In the Non-Sufficient Funds occurring box, type the email address(es) of the recipient(s) who will receive the email notification. If you’re adding more than one email address, use a comma followed by a space to separate the email addresses.
- Select Save.

BriteCore Administrative Alert: Non-Sufficient Funds: The payment of <payment amount> has been marked as NSF on policy <policy number>. The NSF fee of <NSF fee amount> has been set to be due immediately and the policy will cancel normally if it is not paid.
