1. Task Views: Staying Focused
BriteCore offers predefined Task Views to help users focus on what matters most. These views segment tasks into logical categories to support personal productivity, team collaboration, and enterprise oversight.
- My Tasks: Displays only those tasks that are directly assigned to you.
- My Team’s Tasks: Shows tasks assigned to you and any member of your team that reports up to you based on the organizational hierarchy set up in the contacts section. This is especially useful for supervisors or collaborative work.
- All Tasks: Provides a complete list of tasks visible to you, depending on your permission level, regardless of who they are assigned to.
2. Task Filters and Sorting: Find What You Need Quickly
Managing a large volume of tasks can be overwhelming. BriteCore provides robust filtering and sorting tools to help users prioritize and act efficiently.
Search/Filtering Options:
- Status: Filter tasks by status, such as Open and Completed.
- Due Date: Choose a start and end date to view tasks within a specific timeframe.
- Task Type: Filter by task categories like Document Review, Initial Contact, Payment Processing, etc.
- Assignee: View tasks assigned to a specific user or team.
- Related Entity: Search based on linked entities, such as Claim Number or Policy Number.
3. Task Lifecycle: Create, Manage, and Complete
Creating a New Task:
- Navigate to any claim or policy, open up the Tasks panel by selecting the Task icon in the right side menu, and choose Add New Task.
- Fill in the required information:
- Description: Provide additional information about the task
- Due Date: Specify when the task should be completed
- Priority: Choose from Low, Medium, High
- Assignee: Select the person responsible for completing the task
- Task Type: Choose a task type from the configured list
- Click Save. The task will appear in the entity’s task list and in the relevant views on the workbench.
Updating an Existing Task:
- Locate the task in the Tasks panel next to an entity or the workbench
- Click the task to open its detailed view.
- Update fields such as status, priority, assignee, or description.
- Click Save to apply changes.
Completing a Task:
- Open the task you have completed.
- Set the Status to Completed.
Click Save to apply changes.
