Before the Copilot can map a document, it needs to know what kind of document you are creating and which policy or claim to use as sample data.
Template Definition
- In the top-left of the screen, enter the document information. This defines the document type and where it sits in the hierarchy, such as whether it applies to all states or all policy types.
- Add a template name. This is the name you will see later. To overwrite an existing document, use the same name.
- Select the printing options.
- In the upper-right, select Save to save the template.
Data Loading
- Enter your policy number or claim number in the form and select Load. This retrieves the data you will map to the form. The available fields appear in the data table on the left.
- In the top-right, select AI Copilot. The Copilot panel opens beside the template preview.
Tip: Choose a policy or claim that has values in every field the document needs, for example a policy with a mortgagee if the form prints mortgagee details. Empty fields cannot be matched, and the Copilot will report them as unmatched.
If you change the loaded policy, policy type, or location part-way through, the Copilot refreshes its list of available fields so the mapping reflects the new data.
